Chapter 1.2: Swapping for funds on Avalanche Network
Once you have successfully bridged your funds onto the Avalanche Network, it’s time to swap for assets that will get you started on your journey!
AVAX is needed to pay for transaction fees on Avalanche C-Chain, whilst TUS is needed for transaction fees on Swimmer Network.
If you already have AVAX in your wallet, you can skip to ‘Swapping for AVAX’.

Please make sure that “AVAX” is selected for the “To“ field.
You will need a small amount of AVAX in order to pay for transaction fees that are required for each transaction on the Avalanche C-Chain.

Please make sure that “TUS” is selected for the “To“ field.
You will need TUS in order to:
- 1.Buy Crabada NFTs to play Crabada
- 2.Pay for transaction fees that are required for each transaction on Swimmer Network
- 3.Add Sub-Accounts or increase Crabada slots
